What a dummy! Jesus was a radical who supported liberation of his people and the purification of Judaism from the Roman influence. The Jesus of the New Testament does not reflect Jesus of Nazareth. The new testament reinvents Jesus as a peacenik man who is spreading his Gospel for all not just for his Jewish people.

Oops..I forgot. Reza Aslan, the author of The Zealot and the scholar whose every word you imbibe, was alive during the times of Jesus. He therefore knows everything, including attempts by Luke and others to "reinvent" Jesus. Very convenient, and intelligent too.

Paul was a usurped the teachings of Jesus to fit the Roman and Gentile agenda. He took it from being a reformist Jewish movement to one that accepted nonJews.
