Somalilanders think they are the originators of Ancient Egyptians

Postby TheMightyNomad » Tue Nov 03, 2015 5:33 am

So Somalis went from pharaonic kings to the qashin of the aduun?
Allow these people their fantasies. When people have nothing to be proud of, they like to claim other nations.
My brotha Liquid this very true.

http://roadsandkingdoms.com/2013/the-gr ... -hargeisa/
This climate of mistrust has led some like Ali and others to believe that there is a foreign conspiracy afoot to rob Somalis of their history. Ali suspects that the Egyptian Library next to the Presidential Compound in Hargeisa is a front for clandestine Egyptian saboteurs and foreign agents. He alleges that these agents are trying to keep Somaliland down, afraid that their archaeological heritage will supersede Egypt’s and rob that country of their much-needed tourism revenue.

Almost nothing in Somalia’s history suggests that Egypt has any interest in sabotaging their heritage. Egypt has actually historically supported Somalia as a counterbalance to their mutual foe, Ethiopia. The Library was originally a charitable donation in the spirit of that friendship.
Others like Ali, have decided that their nation invented Egyptian culture, and their problems must stem in part from an Egyptian cover-up of that fact.

I don't think any Somalilander claims they invented egyptian civilization. In fact, the only Somalis who make those stupid claims are on Somalinet. However, there is definitely an ethno-linguistic link between Somalis/HOA and Egypt.

im just joking with ya, We have no claim on the civilization, however there is some type relationship that went on.

but honestly i was doubting until they found all those artifacts now im just on the fence about it.. The sad part is that SL and PL or South Somalia doesnt have any musuem and hence no protection.

Hypotetically speaking if Archeological evidence prove that they were a related group more akin to Somalis. How would the World react to it?

and what would it mean to Somalis? i bet Wahabis would bomb the place in a minute.

All this bullshit about the Ancient Egyptians being black will be totally debunked when they genetically analyze Ancient Egyptian bones. This will happen pretty soon.

We already have hints from analyzing Egyptian Copts that the Ancient Egyptians could be more Eurasian than modern Muslim ''Arab'' Egyptians. This is not going to be favorable for the Afrocentrists.

Question: Some people have said that the mummies of the valley of the kings have similar faciacl features to the Mazai Mora. Is this true and where are the mummies now.

Answer: In general i would make the argument that many of the mummies egypt and upper egypt have a general set of facial characteristics called elongated African. They are Somali like and they are descandents of people from hot dry climate.
Not substantiated but stil noteworthy. You think the ancient egyptians were copts?

No they have not to this very day. I follow this closely.

All they have done so far is a shitty low resolution STR analysis with a high error rate that don't mean anything. No high resolution full genome analysis has ever been performed on Ancient Egyptian bones so far.

When they do, you will see clear cut evidence that Modern Egyptians are probably more Sub-Saharan than the Ancient Egyptians.

Yes, look up the Dobon et al. 2015 study.

Copts form a West Eurasian cluster with Horn Africans. While Horn Africans have a large Nilotic component, the Copts don't have that.

These Copts are also less African than the Muslim Arab Egyptians from the Delta region (North Egypt ) even though the Copts in question are South Egyptian ones!

Makes sense. Most of the invasions and ethnic mixing in Egypt always affected Lower Egypt more the Upper Egypt. Upper Egypt was always the birth-place of Egyptian culture and reconquest e.g. the Upper Egyptian dynasty driving back the Hyksos invaders.

It looks like that. In addition to that, the religious outcast status of the Copts kept them relatively unmixed from the Arabized Egyptians.

i doubt it, the copts have trumendous amont of greek influence. In what way would the invasions prohibit them from mixing? there was centuries of Asiatic ,Roman and Greek invasions & occupations in egypt before the Arab Conquest.

Debunked by genetics.

Greeks have ''Ancestral North Eurasian'' genetic admixture (ANE = a Siberian population that affected Europeans) and this Coptic girl who posts on some anthro forums did a 23andMe test and let third parties analyze her stuff and found 0% ANE while Greeks have it at 10%. It is scientifically impossible for her as a Copt to have Greek ancestry with 0% ANE.

Just deal with the fact that the Ancient Egyptians were similar to Copts and very different from Sub-Saharan Africans.
