Am I unreasonable

Since I am going to Africa, I bought an Iphone 5 for my younger brother after he was whirning for a new phone for a while. This morning, my other brother's wife asked me to get her iphone from America. I asked what kind of a phone does your husband have? she said Galaxay S4. So I called my younger brother and asked him if he would like to trade the iphone for galaxy S4 since dumaashi wants the iphone. He said he does not mind. So I called my elder brother and told him, you will have to trade your old galaxy S4 for the iphone since dumaashi wants the Iphone. He refused and was like, war dumaashidaa ama phone ugad ama iska dhaaf why would you drag my phone into the discussion. If dumaashi wants the new iphone, she has to convince her husband to give up the galaxy. Ofcourse I only have $3000 and Iphone costs $400. That is a huge junk to buy another phone. Plus why do they need 2 phones if they are married. Why can't my brother buy some kind of a little flip phone and give the wife a good phone.

So who is unreasonable here? me or my elder brother. I am trying to make both parties happy. My little brother and my sister in law.

You don't understand. I am not loosing anything here. I am only helping my 2 brothers exchange phones. If my sister in-law can benefit on the deal when they trade phones, that is cool. I am not spending a penny on the deal.

Oh I understand - I just think it just stupid idea to buy someone in Africa £400 phone -and you're enabling his stupid greediness.

So if you were reasonable you would say no to your brother and tell your sister in law - "stop been shameless"

Abaayo I do not have to be rude.Since I am not giving them money, I can still be polite and compassionate. By the way, I did not say I am mean or rude. All I said is, I spend what I have. I was just trying to make both parties happy without spending money. If Dumaashi really wants the Iphone, she has to convince her husband to give up the galaxy. If her and her husband wanted an extra phone, waa sheeko baraleey taas because the little brother owns the Iphone. I think I am making sense. Don't know why people in this world don't seem to get it. You don't need money to be happy. You just need to know how to spread things around.

Hyper, dadka africa jooga are more spenderous and more larvish spenders than we are. Remember we work so hard for the money so it has value for us. Ayaka they don't work for it so its easy for them to just make demands. As per this case, a husband and a wife who live together do not need 2 expensive phones. One of them can buy a little flip phone for $50 and use the smart phone with the other. There is not way they will take both smart phones and leave the little boy phoneless. They need to give up the galaxy for the iphone or just have theirs.
