Republicans are embarrassment here. They always scapegoat the poor, the minorities, and the voiceless. It was the Neo-con Republican invasion against Iraq that started all of this mess; yet, these people have issues with few thousand hurting Syrian refugees coming to America. They are heartless and shameless group of people.

It is situations like this that all minorities, the voiceless, women, and poor Americans rally around the Democrats.

It is laughable that the Indian Jindal and the Cuban Ted Cruz are scapegoating the Syrian refugees. They have no shame and would do anything to get the Evangelical Christian Zionist base energized with their anti-Arab and anti-Islam rhetoric.

Games, Ben Carson is an uncle tom. He has welfare and poor people who depend on it when in fact his mother raised him through welfare. He is a joke and knows that he will not reach far.

The states don't have the power to make this decision

FAH from what I understand, the states could make it a lot more harder if they refuse to cooperate with the Feds.

Sure this threat of refusing to accept Syrian refugees is more of a symbolic given what happened in Paris.

Absolute common sense from those states. I hope all western nations follow suit as importing arab so called 'refugees' is letting your country get flooded with terrorist who will kill you. North America shouldn't make the same mistake as the Europeans.

Large Arab population= terrorism, rise in anti semitism, fall in tolerance. The civilised world must not accept .

update: it is now 8 US STATES that won't accept the 'refugees'

That's common sense. But Obama doesn't care at all.

I think they have the right to do so, but They should first pull their air force from the iraqi syrian airspace. If they dont any american state could be the next paris.

I will take Arabs over illegal Mexicans any day. They can't be as bad as the Latinos from south of the border.

Its symbolic sxb, i don't see anyway these governors can do anything about it.

The US has freedom of movements. They can be settled in one state and then move to anywhere else they want.

Latinos at least have Western culture to some extent.

These Syrians are wife-beating inbreds with a strange culture.
