Kikuyu is one qabil- One culture, One ethnic, one language etc.
Mandingo is one qabil ""
Mnyankole is one qabil
Somalis is one Qabil
Zulus is one qabil
Luo is one qabil
So I don't see the reason why you are referring Somali sub-clans as qabil. We are one qabil. end of story.

Clan is not the same thing as ethnicity.
The Scots have different clans as well, but they are one ethnic group.

A lot of lowland Scots are descendants of Viking invaders. Same with north-east England. The Welsh, Irish and Highland Scots are Celts. The Northern, Central and South-East of England are Anglo-Saxons and the South-west/Southern coast of England are Celts (Cornish). All in all, the British are mongrels.
