The only somalis who actually live with/grow up with the Afars are those from Djibouti . The rest of you are regurgitating the venom that you would otherwise direct toward each other using the Afar as a proxy , highly haram ! That's why we don't have a country .

mome1234 Hugo Pratt is Italian { the author}, as far as I recall Kush is afar , the only somalis depicted in that serie are in the King African Rifles , but I could always be wrong .
Actually the serie is called " Les Ethiopiques"

Is that really true that they file their teeth?

Afars are great warriors and closest to Somalis in terms of ethnic group. Some of their clans trace their fathers to Somalis, including Badowtameela (Wiilkii Badda) who trace their ancestry to MJ, Issa Mohamud; and Cumarayti who trace their lineage to Warsangeli, Cumar.

Due to their conflict with the Somali Issa on Ethiopia, Afars in Ethiopia have so much disdain for Somalis, but in overall they are good people if you get to know them.
