It's just the effort more than anything. I find sandwiches just too boring unless they are shawarma or something. Lama 13 Euros for Lunch? I thought 3 pounds on beans & chips from the canteen was bad & wasteful especially when you know you can churn out masterpieces from your own kitchen. :snoop:

Right now i've got avocado, feta, lemon, eggs in the fridge so inshaAllah a mix of this & this

I pack and eat at wagamama below our office sometimes.

When I pack my own lunch it's usually tuna, chicken or egg salad..

Fish, usually salmon, potatoes and sauce.
I also pack Somali style rice with chicken..

There's only one meal I can cook with I must say a commanding hand "savoir faire" you know, which why I eat it about 6 days of the week , xcept when I go to my fam's on the week end

So you cannot really pack the same lunch everyday without arising suspicion , you know the likes of " do you eat the same thing everyday blahblahblah?"

So I diversify which costs money by ordering out , or skip lunch altogether .... for ...uh ... religious reasons

Nope. Breakfast and lunch outside almost every single day of the year. Homemade food would be a luxury. Try and cook from time to time but...it's never fit for human consumption
