while i agree with inaxasan in some of his or her posts. i found people, i do not know about other muslims including somalis, but if you attend any Q&A session, people are asking stupid things such; which leg i enter the washroom, i cannot sleep the right side of my body, it's okay to sleep in my left side...etc. we created people who like to depend on sheikhs or scholars whatever you like to call them. and worse those sheikhs milking it and entertain such things. we need people to read, those sheikhs they're product of their envornment and of course they give you what "qool" they are convinced and most times not to tell other scholars what they said, all in the name "dont confused dadka 3aamah da" . basic things every one should learn and know it. example, dahaara, fiqh al 3ibaadat, such salat, soum...etc. muslims doing it over 1400 years, or what we call sunnatel fi3liyah. every one can see how muslims pray...as muslims saw time of prophet and after him.
so yes you hear people say , sheikh hebel said and imam hebal said instead "qaala Allah wa qaala rasoul".
Also, in fiqh issues and al-ahkaam and nasikh wal manshoukh, still after all these years of learning in the hand of quran scholars i got confused from time to time about it and back to my father and uncle to explain to me. that needs real scholary and extensive knowledge. cause there is more way to look at it.
overall i do not like blind taqleed, though it's neccessary for some or that what they believe.
scholars are teachers to us
