http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/201 ... se-funding
Founded in London in 2011 by Kristo Käärmann and Taavet Hinrikus,
https://www.worldremit.com/en/news/lond ... ition-2010
WorldRemit (now WorldRemit Ltd) has won the prestigious London Business School business plan competition. One of six finalists who presented business plans at the 12th entrepreneurship conference on 7 May 2010, WorldRemit was awarded this year's prize.
He already had it up and running by early 2010 winning a prize for it so how would he have copied a company formed in 2011? :-@

You are such an idiot kulaha it targets third world countries well of course retard that's whole point. The emerging market is where all the remittance money is at. People in developing countries is where WorldRemit wants to target so it can be a substitute for the crappy and dysfunctional banking systems for small business owners and laborers.

Immigrants working in other countries like Mexicans in america or pakis/indians in the gulf are going to be remitting money to their families back in their home countries. Who the hell is going to expect a french or german in Italy to remit money to their poor family in their respective countries?

He operates in all of Europe anyways so I don't get why you think he doesn't make his money there also

Anyhow I don't even know why I'm arguing with somebody who is trying to take shots at a soon to be worth a billion dollar company.

Last reply loser keep hating while they get richer :umad:

AwRastalee,

That's what up!

Like I said before God bless him and keep the evil eye from the haters away

We have a lot to learn from Mr Ismail and personally I do love to meet him and become my business mentor. We need business school in SL and Dr Ismail should be regular guest. Dahabshiil and others should not see him as rivalry but rather someone who can help them lift their game and appreciate innovation and the new way of doing business in SL.

We need business elites to be our soldiers not fake 'safiiro' who are regular taxi drivers.

Dr Ahmed should invite investors to SL and himself should invest in other areas and mentor rising talents.

In Scotland they have an organization called GlobalScot, we need something like that. Guys read about GlobalScot.

When it comes to business in SL, I look up to two people; Dr Ismail Ahmed and Ahmed Osman Guelleh (even though he is based in Djibouti).

Mr. Ahmed himself runs over 15 firms in Djibouti and Somaliland (including the Coke plant-SBi). He gave each of his brothers to run a business or two. In Somaliland, Mustafa Osman Guelleh runs SBi.

Even though his father started the business and money, it was Ahmed that innovated and took it to the next level in less than 10 years. Ahmed is now close to completing his main HQ in Djibouti.

You iidoors are dreaming - WorldRemit will never unseat the likes of Western Union or MoneyGram.

TransferWise has been valued at USD 1 billion.

Atlantic,

Forget the Europeans, what do you have son?

Of course you have nothing to show as usual only hate and a lot of noises. It's good that Isaac is competing with Europeans and Americans but Darod can't even take on few African tribes.

Show us what is yours don't be crying about Estonians. They are no Darood unless you wish to rewrite the Jaberti story

Sorry to burst your iidoor bubble, but counterfeiting TransferWise isn't not impressive. Ethiopian Habar Yonis iidoor you are very strange creature - you infest Somali forums (Mereja) with pro-Ethiopian and iidoor secessionist BS. Simply because one iidoor accomplishes something doesn't mean that you as an unemployed Ethiopian Habar Yonis iidoor has accomplished something too. Try not to live your life through others. Concentrate on your own individual achievement rather than on what somebody from your tribe may achieved.

Image He still found it before them in 2009 :russ: :umad:

The 2010 and 2011 shown for each company in the articles must be the years they officially established with the government.

Like AwRastaale said they are Europeans you are bragging about how about you show somebody of your kin who is as accomplished as this man who is competing globally with billion dollar companies? :-@

AwRastaale,

That is a good designed building, It looks better than all the ones being built in Hargeisa. It should be looked as an inspiration for any new ones built.

As for the man who owns it this is the first time I heard of him. He and other business men should be sought after by the government to invest in the country. Many Industrialized countries such as Japan, Korea, Germany etc. were developed as a result of the government working closely with the Business class.

The pathetic, deluded and unemployed Ethiopian Habar Yonis iidoor created a thread 2 years ago to celebrate one of his tribesman on Mereja.

Go home loser you have lost Image

https://www.worldremit.com/en/news/worl ... l-partners
Founded in 2009, WorldRemit has partnered with leading international banks, mobile operator hubs and mobile money transfer networks including M-PESA, as well as an array of fast, low cost local money transfer networks.

He found it late 2009 early 2010 meaning Decemember to January so it isn't a suprsise why there is conflicting founding dates but that is still earlier than your Estonian masters who found it in March you are so keen to defend. :umad:

It has been a while seen I did a major karbash and it feels so good :eat:

Don't have time to argue with somebody who ignores the facts :-@

Hater you lose I'm out! :stylin:
