Wanlawein are not known for having a brain.

The aid means nothing. When katrina hit the US, Washington had to borrow billions from other countries including China.

The US gives $2 billion a year in aid to Israel and does that mean Israel is like your failed state?

Ethiopia is growing and much of its fund is tied to major infrastructures so the El Nino natural disaster is extra bill. It already allocated $300 million from its own pocket but it under estimated.

Take for eg, Ethiopia has about 9 dams under construction including in Somali and will soon tap into Shabelle and Jubba.

All these dams will address food, water and electricity issues. It will take time for them to yield results and balance the paper but Ethiopia is doing a lot but what are you doing than depending on AMISOM and Turks to feed you?

Mogadishu is more like refugee site than a capital apart from small area improved by Turks. You still have about a million in Dadaab, Badbaado, Utaango, eg.
So the more help it can get the better and the world is willing to give Ethiopia more than Somalia due to population, political status, less corruption record, etc.

We need to welcome the aid and our concern should be making sure it goes to those in need especially Somali Region, the hardest hit.

But no Turkish father will cry in Addis.

The $88 million is going to military hardware and to keep the status quo. Canada gives China an economic superpower aid money( another form of bribery). This is nothing new.

The only proof you need to know Ethiopia is overrated by the nincompoops here is to look at it's GDP per capita. It's bloody awful.
