Paul Kagame has transformed Rwanda from a war torn country divided by the tutsi genocode and Hutu-Tutsi ethnic tension to one of the fastest growing economies in Africa. Sometimes developing countries need smart strongmen who could bypass all the ethnic favouritism and bullshit and just focus on developing the economy. Democracy will just overcomplicate things in poor uneducated society. Compare China to India for example

Hararboy

I actually agree with u. :up: democracy is not for Africa, or not for an unenlightened society. An enlightened society must have democracy. The canons of democracy took a long road to reach the West--I think Africans, Russians, Middle eastern, ALL need this road to appreciate democracy. I agree with the Ruwanda president to make himself president for life. :clap: Siyaad Baare should have done that-- Somalia would have been amazing today. :eat:

The right for every man to chose his leader and voice his opinion is bound to happen sooner or later . You can either get in front of it or wait for it to happen , smack you in the face . Daahir Riyaale Kaahin is chilling among his people eventhough we're poor , Mucamar al Qadaafi who made Lybia rich is dead and his country gone down the toilet
Build a sound system and money will come {investements}

Kagame gave the opposition 1 week to campaign before the elections , just a single week :lol:

Look at Nigeria , president Buhari since their independence is the FIRST guy to come to power in a peaceful transition. Africans are afraid of chaos but they should study the history of the white man to understand how he got where he is today . So many wars , death and struggle , it is a process

Who's to say Rwanda wont go to shit when he leaves? The last major spate of violence that occurred in the country was utterly horrific. I think it's best if a proven leader takes the mantle of things until poverty is sharply reduced and the people socially and culturally evolve.
