I've noticed that a LOT of Somali waalidiin don't like their children hanging around with other Somali children, especially in high school.

Isn't it bizarre that they believe if their child hangs around with ajanabi's they are more likely to succeed academically?

Surely I can't be the only one who's noticed this trend?
If I ask you a question Inaayah, how do you know this? Are you a teacher in that school or perhaps have children of your own? Whatever the case, "addeer" Gegi sees that you're well-informed in this department :)
You don't have to be a parent nor work in a school to notice such a thing.

Marmar waad iga yaabisa.

But you still have not given me straight answer to the 2 questions that I've raised. :)

Maxaan kaagaa yaabiyey miyaadan ii ogalayn in su'aaal ku weydiin karo. I was just curious here. That is all and nothing else.

Neither. There's a difference between asking someone a question and taking shots adeer, at this age I would have thought you'd known by now.

Why are you so bitchy lately?

Anigu waxaan markaan school u doorayo caruurtayda waxa iigu mihiimsan waa schoolka wax barashashada, edebta caruurta dhigata iyo meeshuu ku yaalo.
Ilmahaaga waad u doori kartaa sxb markuu primary dhiganayo lknse markay secondary sch gaadhan iyagaa dooranaya.
Ilmahaaga waxa fiican in aad intuu yar yahay u kala sheegto xumaha iyo samaha waxbarashadiisana ka caawisid ama dad caawinaya u qabatid.
Dadkaaga ka cararna ilbaxnimo ma aha.
Gabadh baan aqaanay ku faani jirtey in inanteedu aanay hablo Somali ah la saaxiib la ahayn
Illaahay wuxuu ogaa Somali ka cararkii inay bide u keentay oo caruur madow ah dhashay markaasay farta dhexda ka qaniintay.
(Ilbaxnimadii waxay maraysaa in dadkagi laga cararo) subxaana ka yaa cadiim.
