She should have done her job as a mother in the first place 6 years ago.

Her crocodile tears doesn't convince me.

Somali Canadans are pretty much living like they are in Mogadishu every day shooting each others over crack.

Too many crack heads having kids.
Istaqfurullah war ilahey ka cabso. Three of her kids were taken right after delivery @ the hospital. Can you imagine carrying a child for 9 months and after long hours of labour only to be taken away.

Did she had triplets? How can all THREE be taken after birth?

I don't care where she is from, but i hope a Somali law student takes her case in Pro Bono and gets her kids back for her.

is this even makes sense to you? if they already decided, she and her husband unfit parents, you know, you cannot have more kids until resolve your case.

Bluelion, as I watch another video of here when she was in court house after she back to Canada, the first 2 were taken from her at once cause of arguably what their law calls "child neglect". she was saying cause "i didn't understand English" cause she could explain the reason what ever they were accusing her to neglect the kids.

that time she was already pregnant to 3rd one. since she was already sentenced as "unfit mother" she is not allowed to have kids.

then while she in it, she got pregnant to the 4rd kid, that when she ran to back home to have the child and one more. now she left other 2 kids with her sister back home, she is fighting for the 3 kids!

I would evaluate her and her husband mental state before anything. doesn't make sense to have more kids when the law of the country already sentenced you as none fit. she should have to fight the law before having more kids.

I do care this case and will contact her inshallah. I already sent my aunt to get the bottom of the case. somali street talk is not reliable and need to check the official documents.

Ummm, i don't believe the law can stop anyone from having kids, even if they are branded as 'unfit' parents.

All they can do is take the kids away at the hospital when they are born.

GAMES,

exactly that what I said; if you unfit they take your kids. so why having them if you do expect them to take it from you?

why not fight the case first cause the case gets only worse for you and they determine you cannot even comprehend what you facing, hence you cannot care for kids.

Somalis need child and youth social workers to explain their people the laws of child services and the system as a whole. new comers specially if they not educated face loads of challenges.

somalis , love money why not get to fostering kids and make money out of it?

Hyper thats true, i don't really know the details of this case, but if i had to guess, i would say its probably lack of communication or understanding.

From what i understand, before the state takes ur kids and puts them up for adoption, they would contact other family members or Somalis to see if they would take 'em. They don't just put 'em in foster care, there is a process involved.

This is really a weird case and i would love to know more about it.

Walaahi i feel for the mother, nothing in the world is worse than losing 'ilmo aad dhaashay'.

Hyper I said the exact same you said when I heard about this case. If someone takes your children over and over. How can you keep having kids? Fight for the first one. Maybe 2. What the heck she keeps having them and loosing them. Stop having them if people are taking them away and you can't raise them

I think the people and the law will figure this situation out. We don't know the whole picture

I used to be emotional about what happens to some people but not any more. our people knowingly or not do stuff that harm them later in their lives. such claiming single mothers when their husband with them and having kids every year but still claim being single. claiming benefits while their husbands makes living, to just cheat system. marrying and not claiming their husband and men not claiming their kids to get benefits from govenmrnt. just short list what they do that may cost them their kids or put them in legal issues with the system.

fist 2 kids was taking from her, then she had 3rd one was taken from her from hospital, she decided to go back home to have more kids so government wont take from her!! is this madness makes sense to you guys? like she gave up on her kids to get more kids and come back to claim them after 5 years!!

least to say; she is irresponsible parent. hope now she learned her lesson.
Ninyahoow waxa Canada ka socda lama socotid ee stop being so judgmental. This is a Somali woman who is down and hurt: either help her or keep walking, but don't kick her while she's down. Irresponsible parent kulahaa, and you don't even have the complete details of this case. Stop being so condescending. We all know the broken aspects of our communities here in North America, we don't need a lesson on that.

Blue Lion, If you can pm me any more details you have that'd be appreciated. Human rights non-profits have pointed out the lack of transparency of Families & Children Services of Canada (with visible minorities being over-represented among the active cases), so much so that it's prompted the government to look into it. It's been covered by the CBC increasingly over the past few weeks, and I want to see if I can forward her case to the appropriate people and follow up (as I'm far away from Winnipeg). And if it is determined that the government was justified in taking the children, at least we'll have had the peace of mind of knowing due process was followed (unlike hundreds of other cases involving visible minorities).

Normally, when Child services is taking kids, they would look to see if there are other family members, or even other Somalis who would take in these kids.

I am wondering, why haven't her family (or even Qabiil) for that matter not step forward and take in these kids?
