Allow me to be facetious for a min. adeer. When we were young, hanging out with our little friends. If one happened to surreptitiously flatulate and a next one smelt it, he would make it a point to loudly ask "uff yaa dhuusey?"...then a third one would investigate the source so that he may empirically validate the fact of that claim and add his voice to the accusation ...and so it would be that each and every one of those present at that gathering would sniff around for the malodorous gas (including the originator of said gas) in order to absolve himself of the deed. If one, by way of a cold or a stuffy nose, failed to perceive the bad scent, he would meekly say "waxba ima urayo aniga", secretly hoping that the statement is not misconstrued as an admission of guilt. Of course, you probably can't relate with any of this because you were raised with good akhlaaq but most somalis are qalqaali by nature and this, what you are seeing, is the manifestation of that qalqaalinimo. It is not in us to simply ignoring flatulence and allow it dissipate on its own

there was this somali guy, his mails comes to my mail box, and all I do is to inform him, I have new mail for you, he would say, please drop it the box in front of my office. it started 4 years ago.

mid shaidamad o walashey ah ba pointed out to me " why you have to take time to drop his mail, he should pick it up, he is taking advantage of you...bla bla" . I hashed her and said, what is a big deal, his office is my way to work.

I got a quite big package for him, tried to drop it twice but was after hours of office, so I thought to myself , may be stolen. I put it back to my car.

he texted me with caps " I need my mails as fast as they arrive to act accordingly" I felt he is demanding and ordering me and that shaitan whisper back in my head "war ninku edeb darana, woba e horoofaya, walle, hebla wahey shegysay ba run ah"

thank to Allah was text, otherwise I would say it to himself but since was text, I let it calm and text messaged next day fajir time knowing he is sleeping and wouldn't force me to escalate. lol " war I tried twice but doesn't fit the box and didn't want to be stolen". Alhamdullilah I could control myself in a place I had an upper hand to say " war get lost, a7saan ban ko samebnays, you do not have to be rude, so doono hadad rabto"

my point is; people can ignore/avoid unpleasant things online directed to you or others. you do not have to respond right away or even read. not always as easy face to face or through phone.
