Why is borama killing all the dogs

Somali people never cease to amaze me and shock me but today was the all time shock of all shocks, the town of Borama authority is poisoning and killing all the dogs of the area and wants complete extinction of dogs , subhana allah do they not know this is allah's creation and they have no right to kill them.

I always thought the borama folks were the most civilised, obviously not!

I totally get the sentiment of some people if they see this as inhumane and kinda barbaric, but that's first world thinking. Walahi I was pissed off this morning as well and couldn't bring myself to endorsing this famous GB endorsed dog genocide.

That being said, sxb they have over populated over the years, walahi no1 bothers them people put left over food outside for them. You will see them roaming around the city right next to the local people. That's where ree Borama ' civility comes.

Lakiin some of them turned vicious, started eating xoolaha as well as some people. They are a menace to society not forgetting a xaaraan stain on the cities reputation and sanitation.

I understand where you are coming from, it's extremely barbaric thing to do but that's only so when you are not the one who is facing this problem and have the luxury to have such sympathy and care about the welfare of animals. It's a first world luxury many people back home don't have.

Forget dogs and cats people are dying sxb , and if it came to between a dog and a goat for any Somali, the dog is gonna get it simple as that.
Immunisation and asking NGO's for help is not as easy or as practical as you think loool. Who is gonna immunise dogs thousands of dogs ahahah. Somalis can't even immunise their young ones niyaw.

In the West, they have a hunting season for deer, and the idea behind it is to keep their population under control. It seems the effort of reer Boorama is population control by reducing the number of these dogs significantly, so the Muslim people in that town can live peacefully there. The methods may be drastic, but I fully understand the sentiment of reer Boorama.

For the people who are criticizing Borama officials, if your concerns are genuine, reach out to international organizations and have them take these dogs. If you're not going to do that, then shut up; let reer Boorama deal with their local issues. Too many Westernized fellas in this joint.
