Ina Adeer, in our Somali culinary dishes, we use more sugar, salt and oil in cooking in conjunction with most of the ingredients we use are processed. Back home, people consume more organic food and less of processed foods or vegetables and fruits grown with less chemicals. Even the animals we consume their meat or drink their milk here are fed large quantities of antibiotics to increase their sizes of meat and the volume of milk production. Is it safe?

Just lower your sugar, salt and read meat intake.

Health wise, yeah....understand that sugar and fat don't make you gain weight, too many calories do... you can eat whatever you want to lose weight... just understand that "whatever you want" is much different than "as much as you want

If you burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight, doesnt matter if all you eat are coconut bon bons

But good for you

I usually don't fuck with sugar although during days where I'm running short on sleep. I have developed the tendencies of drinking sugary energy drinks esply monster drinks. :meles:

The good thing is our white people here in the States would eat anything and then ask questions later.....I actually taught them eating banana with all kinds of meals to my coworkers and they think it is great...Just the other day we were at Chipotle and this white coworker asked for banana to go with his chicken bowl that includes rice, chicken, beans.... Never thought of that before.
