yes skippa, they prefer right away, or the same day, some times next day, they need to prepare some papers or legal stuff.

well, i was helping the people who parepare it. since i am a male (lol) so i was doing men section. so what we used do was; put the deceased in the table, cut they cloths from it and keeping the "3awra" covered. then we press the stomach slowlwly them little hard, so you clean anything comes out from their behind or genitalia area, wash it well 3 times or as it needed, do wuthu for them and put the kafan.

i was doing everything from beginning to until zanaza prayer.

some times i could do it alone in my own table.

i can imagine the ajer they get but to make it living is depressing man. some of them very badly injured from car accidants, some from badly burned ......some times just pieces and not a whole body. i thought i always would prapere whole healthy deceased!!

I worked in a warehouse once.me,the drill and polish workers did not understand each other,so the boss told me I could go home a bit early and not to bother coming back the next day.i had to wait 2 weeks for the £35 to hit the bank.war Somali and d.i.y isma Fahmaan.

I also worked as a salesman for two days(Somalis wAlking past thought I was a complaint officer).after nearly two days of: 0 sales,nil income-I was told to do the asta la vista. The most heartbreaking part of the story was being sacked by a West Ham supporter.

I once worked as a translater. Me having the strongest waqooyi accent found it incredibly hard to understand any outside Burco. I once had a May May speaking women, that made me quit.

Hyper, don't people's relatives usually wash the dead though? Or is this only when they can't find a close relative?

ina samaale, i havent seen family washing their deceased any more. after the death, it's must to get to the hospital and report to police, to exam the body and reason of death (if they dead at home). to check if there is criminal act happened. any bruses, blood test from poison etc. after the body released to burry, will drive them to the grave yard and there is masjid and funeral house. so will be washed in a huge rooms with tables. in that whole can wash and prepared at least 100 bodies.

it will part of life after you wash few bodies. but since i am out of there, i would never want to go go back.

the problem isnt normal healthy bodoes but the people who had bad accidants, and burned people also some bodies not intacted propery.

One time i had 4 jobs on the go (alxamdulillah). Didn't know my boss was a paedo in one of them. Sadly it was in an Islamic malcaamad (Asian).
Nor worst job, but worst boss.

I was professional Theif in Burao when I was teenager, a place where all shop owners have pistols, It takes guts to take get into some one else's property, too much heart beats for the first days, Luckily I was never caught red handed by the police , perhaps my unique stealing approach helped me to get away with it.

I never done halal job in Africa except sporadic days I temporarily, worked in my subclan restaurants. As a Orphan student I had free breaktime meal or pocket money in all my subclan businesses. So I was dhiidh for them (dhiidh is junior personal assistant, You get a tip for your services) loooool. but I have worked for delivery companies here in Europe (dangerous ice roads) I have accident phobia. I hate long journeys.
