May I know why you want to join shaafici? why not take all of them. I do not belong to any madhahab. I follow hadith and quran. Shafii, hambala and hanafi are not your prophet. Follow your prophet and the quran.

Ummah Forum has a lot of revert, most members are Hanafi/Hanbali but as a new Muslim, you do not need to go through madhaab route first. Learn the Deen first.
