Workplace violence

Postby Adali » Sun Feb 21, 2016 9:04 am

What do you do if you are exposed to some violence. Nothing too bad but nonetheless it impacted you.

Are there uk laws or something I can do to support me besides calaacal to management.

I'm thinking about contacting HR department as I have a written down account of the incident. I want to blow it up in their face.

Are there external governmental organisations I can solicit in my defense against this incident.

To put it in to perspective it is uk based.

Is the violence you referring to here sexual in nature? For instance, have you been sexually violated by a colleague? If so, then you certainly have a right to take a legal action in resolving the matter.

Do you have a union?

If not consult a lawyer and if you have sufficient evidence and witnesses not only should you go to HR but report to police and get a criminal proceedings underway to blow it all up in their face like the mushroom bomb!

Sorry, it seems I have misread your statement there. You are the subject and not the victim, as I initially thought, of this alleged workplace 'violence'. In that case, good luck to you, bro.!

That gif  wtf

Adali you should be able to raise a grievance. If the company doesn't resolve it you can go to employment tribunal

It's not serious in fact an accident but I don't like the individual and would like to take what ever action and blow it up in there face. Perhaps get them sacked or so stressed out by the disciplinary proceedings that they quit the job. I'm not evil just standing up for my self and Allah provided me a chance to do some damage and I will utilise it. I already spoke to the police. Reporting an assault is too much in my opinion.
