What is wrong with establishing an Islamic republic?

So, let me get this! What you are saying is that a poor Somali that lives in Muqdisho, who can hardly feed himself is a terrorist? I can’t believe people like you are absorbing Western propaganda without filtering out.

It is always the case that when immigrants arrive in the Western part of the world, some of them can be brainwashed easily-these people are easily programmed by the media. They accept what they are told or taught at the universities and colleges. You can view these poor immigrants as a “KOOMBO WAX LAGU SHUBTAY”. Because if you take an empty can and you fill with something, it will hold the content as long as you wanted. Similarly, these brainwashed Somalis will do the same thing.

If it was not the Islamic clerks and their militias, most of southern Somalia would have been much worse than it is today. These Islamic clerks try to run a system in one of the worst places in the world. They educate and feed thousands of children whom have lost their parents. They keep close eye on the Christian organizations that operate in Somalia. Most of these organizations hide under the UN banner. Moreover, they fight against foreign infiltrations that are more likely designed to destroy whatever we have left. They fight against the spread of AIDS and prostitutions.

They don’t preach hate as you put it; but they preach justice, love, peace, law and order.

Despite of their efforts, the Western media labels them as a terrorist without the shred of evidence. The CIA and many Western intelligence agencies operate in the heart of Muqdisho and they have been able to assassinate some of these innocent clerks;of course with the help of the warlords that you been applauding for.

There is no doubt when legitimate Somali government is established, the clerks would do whatever it takes to help that government. But so far, what they see is a terrible Somali regime that is been manipulated by Ethiopia. They are not alone; in fact the majority of Somalis share their views. Also, they foresee 20,000 African troops that would be roaming around in the streets of Muqdisho. A good percentage of these troops are HIV positive. Their concern is legitimate.

I understand that their attitude (clerks) towards the Western world is an issue and some of them have strong views towards non-Muslims but the Western nations and many Christian church leaders are as bad as everybody else and they need to be addressed too.

Abdi, I know what you are trying to say, but you could have worded better without sounding like you have something against your own faith and identity.

I agree 99.2% while you guys dont get justice with warlords the sharia courts are manshallah compared to the warlords.
