A Somali acquaintance of mine posted a massive rant about his divorce on his FB. Big portion of it, is about his wife being non-gamer and dislikes him playing a game even for a second and even if he doesn't have anything to do.

Naturally, this led me to ask you gals about this - do you play games and do you care if your spouse does?

I've heard a girl say she wants a husband that doesn't even play FIFA, forget other addictive lifestyle games. I thought, right that disqualifies at least 70 % of young Muslim men.

Shared hobbies are good i guess.Too much of anything is bad,regardless of what it is.If either sleeps and breathes whatever their vice is,i think they will be a problem.

WOW, Empire etc (basically any game that is big in south east Asia )I don't know much but my guy cousin is a serious gamer too.

I watched a news story how they even have something like the olypmics for these professional gaming tournaments :lupe:

That would be my dream, playing with co-op with a spouse. Do you know why Somali women don't like doing that?

I don't think he's the type who spends 10+ hours a week in gaming and his FB posts seems to confirm it. He plays more interesting games than regular old FIFA every Somali young men plays.
