Which is better: silence or speaking up?

Postby TheFuturist » Wed Feb 24, 2016 3:38 pm

Would you avoid an argument in a social/work/family situation, or are you one who speaks out?

These days I definitely think its better to have a good argument every once in a while. Particularly in work situations, disagreements become a lot more important as you climb the ladder.

Speaking is gold, silence is silver. :eat:

it depands. some times not worth to get arguement for sake of it. but if you think will make a point or making something clear, do it once and move on.

about family, best thing about being in middle east you have control over things in family wise. only parents you need to avoid.

Even though each situation needs its own assessment.Laakiin on the whole I'm not one for staying silent,I'll get involved if there is injustice afoot.Even if it's eff all to do with me personally I like to have my say but only in the real world.
Online it's a total waste of time so better not waste your energy

By Speak up if you mean it to be roaring and forceful I think it's counter productive at home or work place. Sometimes you can say great deal by being silent especially when you're angry.
Seeing her sitting there unresponsive makes me realize that silence has a sound.
