Could have introduced significant capital-gains tax increases on housing profits. He'd kill the housing bubble in one move, by removing the incentive for people to make BTL property empires as a tax-free investment on their capital. Property profits should be taxed, it's obscene that they currently aren't, and it's one of the key drivers of the housing bubble.

Obviously, he'd never do that because it'd hit their core market far too hard.

Since when has tax affected somali shops. They have the same prices since day one. LMAO, I don't think somali shop owners are sitting infront of tv watching bbc news for the budget.
