Fasten you seatbelts, in a decade or so, if the corporate world succeeds in paying very limited or no taxes at all, the coffers of the State will be depleted and this question will be more relevant to unwind the Welfare State. Welfare would be declared a privilege rather than a Right and people with substance abuse, convicted of a crime and those who are deemed welfare junkies will be denied welfare. This question and many more relating to welfare that we find today to be repulsive would be the norm to be asked and debated to be legislated and adopted by governments in the future.
