The mosque is a cash cow. Whoever controls, gets to keep the cash. Btw, this problem is not unique to Somalis, Pakis, Indians, Bengalis, Afghans, Arabs, West Indians (Guyanese), etc, have many masjids opened due to internal fighting over who should control the mosque.

viv, I am in these cycles and seen it bad and good in them. people who are rough, violent and laud/angary in their nature, they do not change when they became religious, they became religious/learned with their nature. very few can control their nature when they became religious.

just look around here and observe, even qabilist one who is calm and nice in nature, throws few bunches and leaves while the angry , laud ones want to win argument and keep going and going.

same as aint islam ones, always the angry ones who are laud and want proof something and stuffs into your face their collective anger. same as religious ones.

I was told and read so many places that, more you learn and get wise more you tolerate and calm. little you know you get angry, frustrated and angry.

where ever I go I just observe and by observing others I learn my self.

I hope this ugly clan division which has affected mosques, charter schools and community organisations doesn't spill over on to the cemeteries where Somalis buy a block of land to be buried in the same area.

As soon as darod and hawiye move to an area, expect clan masjid, clan graves, clan shops. Most darod and hawiye are euro trash known for dhaqan xun. In my area there is 2 shops right next to each other, darod and hawiye, they don't go into each others shops. This problem is huge in these 2 qabiils. The problem is Darod who hijack things after using Somalinimo to set it up

In my area 10 years ago there used to be just a big Darood masjid and small Isaaq one to avoid wanlaweyn, most Hawiye prayed at the Darood masjid, most of us didn't even know who owned it.

During the ICU days, when the warlords were chased out of Xamar, an ICU supporter was going to deliver a lecture and a big massive brawl broke out, much of the fitnah was lead by the Harti camp whom were opposed for tribal reasons, derogatory comments were made on the mic which lead to exodus.

As a result Hawiye broke off and got their own masjid, Marexaan and OG pro ICU also broke off made their own masjid, few years later they split up within themselves, the madkhali salafi got their own place, so did the Itixaad group, S/land and Harti did the same, as a result no more BIG MAJID's just many very small ones. This is nothing new sxb.

Most Somalis in Leicester are originally from other countries in Europe mainly from Holland. Leicester is a place where a Somali city meets Chittagong and then meets Peshawar. During my brief stay, I found it too boring (haddeer weey shidantahay because of the success of their football team) and many of the youth I met there were either too radicalised, or too liberal intoxicated with alcohol and drugs.

Frustrated Somalis flee Holland for the freedom of Britain.
