first of all Sujuis are not like this. secondly, Sijuis don't even live in Eastleigh anymore or Nairobi. They live throughout Kenya and have established communities in all major towns.

There is a town called Namanga on the border of Kenya and Tanzania. In the early 90s there were almost no Somalis but I visited recently and it is now it's like Eastleigh. They have houses and businesses there it is crazy. Plus the town is f#king beautiful and green it's near a mountain and the temperature doesn't get past 15°c and it rains constantly. It's also strategic since goods move from Tanzania through Kenya pass through the town.

I know one Isaac sijui in his late 40s.he speaks classic Somali with a Bantu accent.interestingly ,some relatives who were born In the same Bantu village struggle to speak a word of Somali.it goes to show speaking Somali is a.down to the family b.the individual .
