bosaso becoming the new moqdishu

Postby soonoqoda » Sun Apr 17, 2016 6:05 am

http://world.time.com/timelapse/

go on the world map and see how hargeisa has changed from 84 to now and how bosaso has changed 84 til now

bosaso evolved from a village into an actual city wow

hargeisa hasn't changed that much tbh but if the rate stays like this then somalia needs to move their capital straight away

gotta give it to the darood, they are the best somali clan in terms of growth!

Muqdisho has better climate and will be more favorable by most people than Bosaso but we still have tropical equatorial paradise Kismayo to build into a metropolis.

Mogadishu and Kismayo are warm, barley cooler than Bosasso.
I found out it's a myth that southern Somalia is a cool mild place.

You are right, the variation, in temperature, could scarcely amount to no more than few degrees, but, at least, in Mogadishu and Kismayo, residents are not forced to abandon their homes for quarter of the year, solely due to unbearable heat. Mogadishu and Kismayo, are both far better situated than Bosaaso, in terms of providing a conducive and comfortable living environment.

Both these Cities Lie Near the Equator and the average temp in Mogadishu is 23-24 that is below room temperature!! the only hot month is march and half of april, climate change has propelled these two cities to experience Milder equotorial status of rain and cold.!

Do you know what equator is?
Mogadishu is 500 km away from equator while Kismayo is very close.
In either cases, both are hot averaging 27C and receiving plenty of rain.

I think it's because south Somalia is flat and lies on low attitude which results in the barometric pressure effect.

Since when 27 C year round was hot ? :wtf: Xamar has the perfect climate with cool ocean breeze, while Kismaayo is more humid like in Mombasa.

I said average not year round. Kismayo is humid while Xamar is not? How so when both are coastal cities.

This is today.

Xamar is warm and humid like many Somali cities. I wouldn't call it the perfect climate.

i lived in Mogadishu for 22 years while you never visited or might be went there as sucide bomber and failed,it rains 9 months out of the 12 months with march being the hottest and that doesnt reach 35!,hot in mogadishu means mild in the city i live.
