Why can't their women be maids? Why is it always black & brown women from third world countries? Many Saudi women are seen begging in the streets, why can't they employ them? I read somewhere 25% of Saudis live below the poverty line. You should not be supporting these racist practises. Not too long ago other women from more humble Arab countries[such as Morroco] were all ready & set to swamp Saudi Arabia and work as maids, but the jealous Saudi women kicked up such a fuss thinking their real motive was to come & steal their husbands. But it's alright if the maid is an african or srilankiyya because they believe nimankooda eey qooqu lafaha ka kalay kuma kacsadaan kuwaas.. war waxaan waa cunsurnimo iyo adoonsi daahir yaa shams!
Aduunyada kuma nooshihid? You don't see all these maids being killed, beaten up in the news? Waxaas ayaad walaalahaa la rabtaa? Literally lions den ayeey u galayaan. Saudi men wax meel lala gala maaha, if they are not raping little boys and each other they're out in the streets sexually harrassing fully cloaked women & girls. Your passport is confiscated, no days off, [you can't dare ask Mr Otaibi to let you go out with your friends for instance] no holiday entitlement [you might as well as say goodbye to your children & family] from the minute aad indhaha kala qaadid till the dead of the night markey habaarqabooyinka suuxaan iyakaad u taagantahay being overworked like a bloody mule and all for what? a measely $150-200/ month that more often than not doesn't even get paid to you on time.

Yes we know what Arabs are. Everyone in the world knows what these qashin do to people and their extreme racism. They are disgusting and hateful people who should be avoided like plague but these are poor women who would have otherwised gone through tahriib and dangerous roads to get to Saudi Arabia to work the same.

One thing that disturbs me the most though is that Uganda and other African countries have banned domestic workers from going to Saudi Arabia while Somalia is sending tens of thousands of girls there. :? Also aren't women from the Arab league not allowed to work in Arab countries as maids??

Somalia is shit and this sort of thing is expected. These girls are victims of corruption and a broken country. The only way to avoid this bullshit is to create jobs in Somalia and I'm gonna invest in the Jubbas inshallah do something to restore our dignity however little it is.

Brother, the tahriib ones (as bad as it is) would be a small number compared to LEGALISED exportation of gabdho Somaliyeed. We're talking 50,000 per year. That's 50,000 more victims.

Working as a maid in Saudi Arabia has to got to be up there as one of the worst possible predicaments.

This was just two days ago:

Indian maid allegedly tortured to death in Saudi Arabia

A 25-year-old Hyderabadi woman who went to Saudi Arabia to work as a 'house maid' was allegedly tortured to death, as she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at the King Saud hospital for chest diseases in Saudi Arabia.

The family members of Asima Khatoon were informed about the death on Thursday when an unknown person called her mother from Riyadh and informed that Asima was no more.

Asima used to call her family and lament about the torture being allegedly meted out to her at the hands of her employer.

Three days before her death, Chief Secretary of Telangana Dr. Rajiv Sharma had made a request in writing at the behest of the deceased's family to rescue her from the clutches of her employer and repatriate her back to Hyderabad.

Couldn't have said it better myself. There are no such things as contracts. You get hired and that's it....you function as the maid, nanny, cook and the husband's sex toy when he gets bored. They own you. Some of them lock the maids in the bathrooms while they go to work so that the maids don't run away.

The police actually keep a ''runaways'' (huroob) list of all workers who left abusive employers. In 2016 these people keep a runaway slaves list :dead:

Saudi Arabia is a neo-Nazi regime.

This poor Indian MUSLIM guy made a tearful video about his predicament after going there to work as a truck driver:

And the police locked HIM up :dead:

Never hated anyone more than I hate Arabs. The first and worst enemies of Islam and Muslims were Arabs since the time of the prophet.

Arabs are truly cancer and I'm thankful to Allah that I don't depend on these disgusting fucks.

Well somalis say cagtii jooq laga kari waayo dhibaatey la kulantaa...my friend remember inlaa oo dowladdeena xuduudkeenna ka adkaanweydo dadkeenna si xoolo camal baa loo dhoofinaayaa...haddii la gouroco yaa dambi leh? Kii soo diray mase tii soo baxday?
Soomaalinimo waxay imaan kartaa markaa annaga is jeclaanno.
wadankee dagantahay?...aniga finland baan dagnahay.

incognio

rape is nothing, somali boys are commiting suicide bombings because of poverty and to get food there is a famine in some part of the country and you are talking about rape while the average poor somali is trying to get food on the table?

How about this option/ instead of stealing foreign aid to fill their pockets, Somali leaders could invest that money back into the economy to jump start growth.

foreign aid? somalia doesnt get foreign aid,get it through your thick skull,no country gives foreign aid and the reason our generation/country is poor is because they grew up in a civil war society with no education.

How can Somalia allow for this to happen? so shameful and degrading...

Create a job market in the country rather than sending them to build or SERVE another.

Get paid legally and with dignity or drown in sea. It's a tough choice.

Some of you guys think like Marie Antoinette, "if they can't afford bread, why can't they just eat cakes". Thousands of Somalis die while attempting Tahriibs and many more are caught in the war in Yemen attempting to illegally reach Saudi Arabia. Many are held by gangs who want to extract ransom from their families. For many, they go through all these hardships just to feed their families and loved ones. Most of us would have followed their footsteps if we were in their shoes.

What intrigues me about this issue is why did the Salafi scholars preach individual women need mahrim to travel? if that's the case, why are the Saudi scholars accepting these unaccompanied women? How about the Somali Salafi scholars? Why are they silent on the issue? I've seen tons of videos of them preaching about this issue? Does it only apply to Muslim women anywhere and not (Muslim foreigners) in Saudi Arabia?
the new age of "jaariyah". many reaklly believe they are some kind of slaves. thinking they doing favour to poor people!! they do not think of them as employees. you cannot even terminate your service or you are "run away" and get punished.

i remember years ago, one of maids ran from her employer to her embasy. we want to get her cause her sister was wiorking for us. we had to literly buy her from her "kafiil" in order to reliese her to work.
