"Don't judge me brah" is a western doctrine and by no means it is always right. It's scary seeing so many people saying it as if it's a fact.
In Islam, people are often reminded of their obligations and consequently, their role model to entire world is of paramount importance. Ever wonder why we all pray in the same direction to kabaa? Why did we change our qiblah direction from Jerusalem to kabaa?
Why were we told to hide our sins whenever possible? Why did Shariah teaches us that if we commit a sin and there are no witnesses and victims, then it's as if the crime never happened?
Why were we told to form a Muslim community whenever possible? Why is Islam a way of life, not just religion?
All of those questions are to do with the fact our views and opinions are affected by environment. No man has views and opinions that are truly their own.
If we sin, and others see it. They will see it as bad but if we continue sinning, they will get to used to it and perhaps even do the same sin themselves.
Because of the above, the real judging should be left to Allah but here in the world, we should only judge what is shown to us.
Religious non-hijabis exist and hoe-hijabis also exist. We should avoid both of them, not just one of them.
The fact no such thing exists for men is a shame really but regardless, we should do what we can do to let the world known that we are Muslims, and the path we follow is correct one.
I hate to repeat but what I'm saying is that if a person is kafir on outside and religious on inside, the people around them will be led by the kafir outside. So many people think they're so unique when in reality, they're simply a product of environment, only a small portion of them comes from themselves.
No one is fully unique. Let that be a stark reminder for all of us. Every single action we do, will be a factor in somebody else's decisions if seen.
