Personally worked with blacks, they do harbour hatred, it is predicated on jealousy and sour experiences with Somalis, so don't forget what that new found hatred is coming from, just be intelligent guys. We can't stop the ignorant from being ignorant, this goes for all blacks including Somalis.

I get your point. My mum is the minority called colloquially "cad cad, benadiri, .5 you name it. Her mum is the major clans your talking about but my grandfather looks like a real real Arab. I understand where that confusion comes from. But apart from the cad cad people who obviously have Arab origin I consider all other Somalis black.Even though all Somalis of the major clans are of the same ethnicity and race, I think among Somalis there are many people that genuinely do not look black at all, and this is a fact. Within my own family there are people that do not look black at all and others that look straight black. This is what causes the confusion.
