Ramadan diary 2016

Postby Inaayah » Mon Jun 06, 2016 3:41 pm

Day 1

Alhamdulila day 1 completed. SubhanAllah Ilaahey SWT is soooo merciful. It's so amazing how fasting for His sake alone can be so humbling. It reminded me that I'm nothing but a weak human being, who's nothing without Allah SWT and His Rahma. May Allah SWT accept our sawm and good deeds from us, Allahuma amiin Ya Rabb.

Alhamdulila Alhamdulila Alhamdulila.

Maya abaayo alhamdulilah, I don't have it. I think I mentioned my mother in law has it when I was seeking food ideas.

I know some pregnant woman do that too. Pay the money, in case they can't make it up due to breastfeeding / any further pregnancies. I'm not sure that's the right thing though to do both but I guess it's safer.

@Aisha, ilaahay haku caafiyo.

I find it funny that people struggle with fasting for just a few hours until sunset. You might not believe me but I once went 21 days without eating anything but only drank water. I lost 15 kg by the end, that was more humbling than you can imagine!
