One rainy season and all of that surface 2inch tarmac will just be swept away,.

do you see the first pic it's this rainy season, it was one of the heavy floods wet season and the road is even become more beautiful. The second pic is before the rainy season waana markii dhulku qalalnaa.

Under normal circumstances the road would tear up in a few years.
However, Somali roads see so little traffic they are able to last. :)
