Couple of months ago, a girl who is my a quittance wanted to introduce me to a girl. We planned that, I take her and the girl to dinner. When all of us get together, I ask them to pick a restaurant where we will go eat. The a quittance girl said, " My favorite is Red Lobstar". I have never been in a red-Lobster place but I learnt from the Movie " Seat Filler" that Red-Lobster is like $70 bucks per person. I just bluntly told them red lobster is expensive and I cannot afford it. Wallaahi I am telling the truth as I am fasting. They looked at each other, gave me a sacarstic laugh and said, ok meesha aad jeceshahay nagee. I ask them if there is anywhere else they like other than red lobster but they did not pick anything. I took them to Apple Bees and they had nice dinner for $40 for all of us. The girl did not agree to the relationship afterwards but not sure if its the Red-Lobster or because I was so honest with her.

My Question is, was I wrong to tell them I cannot afford Red-Lobster? Was that girl trying to take advantage of me? 3 X $70 = $210 for dinner. Someone, I aint bill Gate's son. That is almost half of what I make in a week.

The one who wanted red Lobster is not the one I was going to meet. Its the one that was going to introduce her to. Wixii baa isaga kiin qaldamay.
