Jubbaland won 8:7 on penalties.
Jubbaland are in the final :dj: :dj: :dj: :dj:
Congrats JL!
Commiseration to Banaadir..they played well but were unlucky.Hopefully, they will do better next time.
Penalties are unpredictable. You have seen how the reigning World Cup holders, Germany tanked at penalties against Italy even they've won it.

Good luck JL, I hope they win the cup.

Good riddance Banadir. I listened to some of their comments after the Puntland draw and their arrogance was unreal. You'd think they were Barca who just played Sunderland. You are allowed to be arrogant when you have the talent and Banadir is average at best.
I think that out of place comment is what motivated jland not allow even 1 goal in fear of being called ciyalka xafada

Banadir is gonna lose its monopoly on international tournaments. Merit, not location will determine who'll represent the country.

I Don't Think That Will Happen My Friend Mogadishu Have Serea And B Teams From Mogadishu Clubs The Likes Of Elman Fc Jeenyo LLP And So On Who Play CECAFFA And Other African Tournaments And Non Of Those Players From A And B Are Allowed To Play For Low Level Gobolada Tournaments.

Unless Big Clubs Like Elman Fc And So On Moved To The Regionals And Serrea A Becomes Like UK Where Every City Have A Club Till Then Banadir Will Be The Only Be The one
'one

Don't get fool by ciyaalka xaafadaha Mogadishu vs gobolada, no teams will match Serra B clubs so any Chance of another city representing somalia will be zero

pland vs jland @ final.

mrnutri, how many players from those serie a teams have played in this tournament? the 2nd q is what's their track record in african games? I mean win/lose ratio. The ones I saw while Mogadishu for several yrs were not any better than these folks.

@warya historically jubaland or teams from kismayo have won more tournaments than the rest of teams in somalia combined. I think they won 11 times already.

You don't know what you are talking about. First of all, the Seria A players were always from all regions of the country and many of them came from international countries. Historically, all the major league teams such as Horseed, Wagad, Madbacada, Jeenyo,Muqdisho(Minishibiyo), Waxool, Warshadaha, Gaadiidka, Bada and so on, had players selected from the Ciyaaraha Goboloda and regional local teams. I think we used to have 10 so I must be forgetting two of them. My point is Jubaland aka Kismaayo always owned Banaadir. Remember that every single Muqdisho district is bigger and has more population than most cities in Jubbaland. I can tell you, for example, the Somali national team had always at least five or six Kismaayo players. Do you remember the great Cabdi Xaaq, Jaahuur, Khaliif Riiko, Siciid Galti, Shaash, Cabdi Samad? All of them played for j/hoose and later were signed by Seria A teams and went on to play for the national team. Currently, there are well-known Kismaayo-born players playing for teams such as Elman FC and they are not part of this tournament. You have no excuse brother. My dad told me how great Banaadir mayors such as Aburaas and Xasan Abshir had tried everything to see a Banaadir team beat Jubada Hoose team and it never happened.
This player who was the national team goalie for years was a good friend of my uncle and I knew his family. He was the goalie for the natinal team after being selected from Kismaayo. By the way Jaahuur is a nickname of an OG sub clan. Eega's folks to be specific. Great man! He used to come to our house and would occasionally let me take shots at him. I was about 7 or 8 years old.

Of-course Serea A Mogadishu based before 1991 they came from across regions Kismayu, Marka, Baladwayne Hargeysa and so on and all the clubs based in Mogadishu, nothing have changed all major clubs who are now even better then before and pay more then most of african countries are based in Mogadishu, and depends whos good eventhou most are from Banadir but they also bring people from inside the country and outside more foreign then ever.

My argument is National teams will always be selected from Mogadishu based clubs just like before. Waryaa guys was saying Mogadishu will lose and another city will represent Somalia but that wont happen.

remember those who played Serea A are not allowed to play for the regional despise which region they came from. Nothing have changed, Mogadishu with 99% of its players play today serea A cannot play regional.

this apply to the minority players too there is one guy whos from Puntland and play Jeenyo LPP, he wasn't allowed to play too and is the assistance of puntland team tho most of putlanders are diaspora.

To select players that will represent Skinnyland on the international tournaments, the famous 4.5 quota formula should be employed.

To all the lonely fadhi-ku-dirir bastards in here who hide behind qabil due to not having anything to show for themselves, enjoy this video below.

Soomaalida Puntland kicking and relaxing in Mogadishu with Soomaalida Mogadishu. What a beautiful feeling!
