Lol! There you go again. You got superiority complex and a magnanimous ego.

I'm just shedding a light on your character. You are an insecure poser.

I'm out. Peace.
I always find the irony in how one side thinks their own hatefilled vitriol is gospel.

'''My negative labelling' of you is justified while your negative labelling of others isn't'''

If he is insecure and has a superiority complex with ego for judging and labelling others. Then what does that make you?

Cagaha hoos dhig.

Somaliland deserves to exist, and we dont need to be a part of Somalia to be proud Somalis. The Somali state is currently too unstable and somaliland now has an opportunity to forge its own path to being a successful nation. Should we wait for the rest of Somalia to be stable, before we start progressing? This could decades, you wish for us to be loyal to the artificial failed state of Somalia even though the state has never never done anything for us except be a source of instability? We are tired of waiting, we will develop on our own accord. And you could share a culture without being in the same country. Im sure all your arguements could be applied to Tigrayans in Eritrea and Ethiopia, yet today they are apart of two, different nations. Arabs also share the same language yet they are split between different nations with different cultures. Austrians, Germans, and Netherlands speak simiilar languages yet they are different nations.

For what it's worth, I realise that my words were offensive and insensitive and I apologize to my Hawiye brothers and sisters. I don't even believe in these qabiil fairytales about odaygii hebel who came from China. We're all the same. Our differences are political.

Ive had a conciousness shift.I disagree with labelling people as pejorative ''Self haters''. By doing so we make them such and they will begin to internalize it. By villanizing people we create hostility and further rejection.

.
Self Fulfilling prophecy right there

Stick with your own kind and help your own states/land. That's Galmudug, Jubbaland, Banaadir and Sanaag for me.

Obviously you'd support Somailand, you're 3/4 Habesha and wish to disunite the Somali people and gain water access to the Gulf of Aden.

Its a figure of speech . It means humble yourself kibirka waa lagu kufaa.

So you went from acting like a holy benevolent person to dishing out flat pathetic insults to try & cover yourself? Talk about tossing oneself under the buss.  . Dont you hate when it backfires on ya. ;)

I speak to whomever i want whenever i want. You can go ahead throw punches at your own computer screen if that frustrates you.

Glad i made it to your imaginative list Madame.Bigot

Correct. so it probably will have an adverse effect. We all know why some people reject themselves in our community, instead we need to treat roots causes of it (ideology and narratives) and adressing them.

On Snet, I've been constantly accused of being a self-hater. Every time I would try to tell these people that there are more pressing and urgent matters to attend to then gossiping about what some Somali girl does with her vagina, I've been branded as a "self-hater" when in reality, I have more pride then most Somalis I interact with daily.

The problem I have with Somalis today is their small thinking. They can't see the big picture for what it is. The time of tribalism is gone. Every civilisation at one point put an end to this savagery. I mean how is it that I see some pro-Somalilanders voting for remain in the EU but wanting to secede from Somalia? :wtf:

Some have also accused me of being a self hater while full knowing that I'm an advocate for the greater Somalia project. Siad barre, although what he did was brutal, was justified in attacking the North. He didn't even spare his own darood brothers the Mj's. Say what you want but IMO the true self haters are the landers.

How can a lander be proud of being Somali while being pro-secessionist? Cognitive dissonance at its finest. :snoop:

Don't you guys want to be a geopolitical force to contend with? A regional power that can garner the respect from all the races of man? Don't you want your views to be considered and have weight in the world stage? At what point will you get tired of all this buffoonery?

I'm proud of my ancestors but the men I see today? Hell naw. But hey, some of you can keep accusing me of hating myself. Whatever helps you sleep at night. ::
Phinks brother,

Sorry to put you on the spot but what are you exactly doing saxiib? Your mouth piece is tantalising and your words do evoke emotion. What are you studying? What are you goals? Doing anything that will help the second generation of Somali kids in the West or in Somalia? Can we get some insight on the workings of Phinks, you seem like a character
I'm majoring in civil systems engineering. Melbourne uni. Goals? Sometimes I dream of becoming president and leading this beleaguered nation to rise and prosper. All I want is for the major clans to get along yet Somalinet forum and its members are quick with the dismissal of my proposals as if I have a sinister agenda. An agenda for what exactly? Peace? Prosperity? A time when our sons or daughters can walk through any region of Somalia without fear of death?

I try to volunteer for the community, I tutor some Somali kids and also act as a substitute macaalin at my local dugsi. Other than sending family members some money back in Somalia, including Somaliland, there's not really that much I can do tbh.

Stop living in fantasyland, the Somali people were never united. Was their a united Somali state in the past? We all have different history. And somallia has never functioned as a unified state.
And Ethiopians will get access to berbere port even if you hate it . This is what regional trade is all about. As long as as we are getting paid, they can do whatever they like with berbere port. This is what I mean when I say that is isnt in our interests to be in the failed somali state. Too many Somalis have an inferiority complex and a hatred regarding Habeshas, and theyd rather not have economic relationships with Ethiopia and not let Ethiopia have access to tjh port even if it benefits Somlia immensely, than make peace and flourish together. Unfortunately theres too many stupid Somalis in the south of somaliland who cant see the writing on the wall.

There is a reason alleged "self hating" Somalis are much more successful and better socially adjusted than the rest of the Somali community. Just look at some of the monkeys in the "Politics - Somaliland" and "Politics - General Discussion" sections to see very fine examples of proud Somalis and all of their mud-slinging. :)

Those degenerates in the politics section do not represent all Somalis. Why would you reduce the essence of our culture to fadhi-ku-dirir?
