LMAO meet the 179 pound fat Ethiopian swimmer in the Olympics

Postby PureQ » Wed Aug 10, 2016 10:01 pm

By the time the chubby 24-year-old had emerged for air from his opening dive off the blocks in the 100m freestyle heats, he was already almost a body length behind and it did not get any better.

The only one of 59 entrants in the heats not to complete the distance in under a minute, Habte touched the wall with a time 17 seconds slower than Australian pacesetter Kyle Chalmers who clocked 47.90

It makes sense now.
According to a number of unconfirmed reports, Habte’s father is in fact the President of the Ethiopian Swimming Federation.

Honestly, we need stop engaging in world sports events until we have our shit in order. Even refugees Syrians with no country have better athletes.

Syrian refugee Rami Anis belatedly brings a smile to Rio’s swimming pool

Ethiopia has tonnes of rivers and lakes. You don't have to have a coastline to be a great swimmer.

The only thing that East Africans are even remotely competent at is distance running, and even that it's only becuase they have a natural advantage. When it comes to anything involving power and skills they flop.
