Guys, what this woman is doing is so commendable. She is 3 months pregnant and she fetches water using a donkey and carries it on her back to sell it. Her husband is old and blind. She can't afford the $5 for her children school fees. Her 13 years old daughter helps her out. I have contacted bbc to send me her phone number and I am still waiting. Will let you know when I get it. Her name is Sacdiya Cumar Aadam. This is what I would suggest. We collect money, she hires aman that will drive her dameer, we send her kids to school " only $20" and we ask her to look for another job that a woman can do easily. Waad waalantahay . How do I know her qabil and what does sadaqa has to do with qabil. Somalis always help each other when it comes to sadaqa. Leave qabil to politics. All we care is, she is our Somali Sister and she needs our help.

From her interview, the guy was not blind. He used to walk for them as Xamaali in the camp but he became blind. As for old, I think he was like Sumu. He was 38 then married her while she was 23. wuu kahor duqoobay. They have a daughter that is 13 years old.

Maya. This lady was repatriated from Dhadhaab refugee camp and came back to Kismaayo.
