I don't know whether he funded his campaign from his own pocket, I wouldn't rely on any claims made by trump regarding this. Assuming he wanted to to fund his campaign, I think it would be hard regardless of how much money he has because electoral campaigns in America are so expensive and last for so long they cost a fortune. I don't think trump is willing to burn that amount of wealth on a presidency he may or may not get
