The "support" they provide to the opposition is one that is designed to keep them divided, it makes sure they don't obtain effective air defense systems, and it also makes sure the GCC, Turkey, and others don't provide the kinds of weapons that can tilt the war to the Sunni resistance's favor.

While Sunni resistance faces all of these hurdles, the IRGC and its Basij miitia, the Afghanistan's Shia fatimiyun militia, the Pakistan's Shia Saynabiyun militia, the Iraqi's Shia militia, the Lebanese Hezbollah, and Assad's militia are all mobilized and protected by Russian and American air power.

Do you see them bombing the Shia militia? You need to see the sheer hypocrisy behind the screen.

The Shia militias are under the cover of Russian jets and the S300/S400 systems installed to control the skies... as is the SAA (which is 85% Sunni Arab).

The Iranians could send way more troops but they can't as going to Syria puts them in disadvantage. NATO will bomb them sky high for sure which is why they've lead with the militias from Iraq/Afghanistan and featuring advisors/commanders on the ground to support the Syrian Army.

FAH, both Americans and Russians are supportive of Turk's Euphrates shield initiative. What this Turkish-led initiative achieved is, it removed 5000 Sunni fighters from defending Aleppo to the Turkish-led campaign against DAESH and "supposedly" PKK. This is what all of these foreign involvement is doing to the Sunni-led Syrian revolution.

The Turkish led campaign also allowed the Shia sectarian militia to tighten the noose around Aleppo while Russians are bombing from air.

When Sunni groups complain about their disadvantageous position against the overwhelming firepower on Assad and Iranian side, the Turks and GCC release some weapons with strings attached because the empire wants to keep them disadvantaged and divided.

Bottom line, there are no Americans or Europeans supporting any of the Sunni groups. What you see as support is actually designed to make sure they (Sunnis) don't put their differences aside, they don't get enough weapons to overwhelm Assad and Iran, and they don't seize Damascus.

I agree with you about the Turk angle and how the US/Russia are supporting it. The Kurds are screwed for sure when they were fighting Daesh and pushed them back and established a haven in Northern Syria.

What's the US end game then? The CIA invested over $1 billion in arming and funding rebels.
