Well, if he's really that desperate then he's doing everything wrong. There's nothing that women find more turn-off & cringe-worthy than a man who calaacals all the time. Long time lurker. I've been reading this forum for a while and was wondering if my brothers and sisters in somalinimo can help a sister out. I just graduated uni and settling into the work life but I think It's finally time for me to settle down and have a family. Problem is...i have no idea how to go about finding a spouse. To give you guys some backstory I've always been a good girl who never gave guys no mind because I was busy with bettering myself and my family. Alhamdulilah now that I've achieved my education and career goals I'm open to meeting someone for the sake of marriage but where all the good somalis at??

As for how to find a man to marry, well..this can be easy and very difficult, depends on what u want in a man. If u follow your heart, it might be broken...if u follow your head, you might feel emotionally detached. It's best to remain middle-grounded. The perfect man is sometimes a myth, but he does exist...only in customizable form.

Where to look: ask around people you know and who they know; makes your research of the guy easier. I wouldn't recommend dating online or meeting someone online; specially if they live far away. Exhaust the possibilities around where you live first...I would even consider arranged marriage first before online dating.
