1961 report shows that the Somali language contains 20% of Arabic loan words, 2% of European origin, 3% of Indian origin and 75% being Cushitic.

I imagine that's what happens when all the inhabitants are looking to get out of there. We're not a lingua franca and we're not large in numbers so yes. The Somali language is definitely in risk of dying out.
