....and would you agree that this is what has resulted in the lack of government institutions that are fit for purpose and the underdevelopment of the countries in every sphere?
As well as all the conflicts whether clan based or not, being solely the result of Somalis not being proud of their country.

the problem isn't a lack of pride but the fact that Somalis have zero ability for nationalism or the ability to grasp the concept of the nation state in the first place. there is nothing to be proud of when the concept of Somalia doesn't even exist to them. and we all know what happened when it was forced on them
the Somali mind is very primitive, and its world revolves around "my clan, my tuulo" the rest of the world is just a friend or foe defined by the question "are they good for my tuulo"? forget development and national pride, it will take hundreds of years for Somalis to be able to even grasp the concept of Somalia
