You missed the entire point. In shiyaca mosques sand is brought inside the mosque in the front and they bow to it or hold it to their forehead rocks or sand and for this reason sunnis accuse them of idolatry.

Logic thus ( given the above sources) dictates if Mohammed and his companions prayed on nothing but sands and rocks then the shia are adhering to the suna while the Sunnis don't.

This is shias vs salafis, not traditional sunnis. The problem with the clay/sand they chose to pray on is that it is specifically taken from Karbala where Imam Husayn(radiyallahu an)was murdered. They don't pray on it just because it is sand/clay, but it usually is taken specifically from Karbala and has inscriptions written on it.

As for the topic of praying on rugs and bidca, then according to the real traditional sunni scholars like Imam shaafi, ibn hajar etc..Bidca is divided into 5 categories, only one of which are haraam whilst the rest range from makruh, mubah, mustahab, and halaal.

The real sunnis have a problem with shias when it comes to how they believe in Allah(aqeedah), and also historical facts. Even the shias have their own sub sects, so it depends which one we're talking about.

we pray nowadays on sajada or on clothes for dahaara bc we live in a small places

looks like the prophet SCW used to praying on sajaada in his house bc at some times he would ask his wives from the window of the mosque to give him one. it was reported by more than a wife also anas bin malik his servant
