Ever since the collapse of the Abbasids, what on earth have the Muslim world contributed to science, technology, engineering and medicine other than Pakistan/Iran (Nuclear programme) ?

Arab world have oil but what have the used it for? have the eradicated poverty among the Muslim world? have they provided infrastructures for the muslim world such as sewage system,s water borehole, roads, schools, etc..?

A better question would be what have we, Somalis, achieved other than living all corners of the world as refugees, destroying a beautiful country, and seeing our population dying in hunger every season that it doesn't rain?

It is good to criticize but before you do it at least be in a better position. We have the longest coastline in Africa, we have rivers, we have fertile land, we speak the same language, we're Sunni Muslims overwhelmingly, yet we're at the bottom when it comes to the rest of the world.

It is time truth to sink in: The same Arab Muslims, that some here made a habit of criticizing constantly, donate hundreds of millions of USD to Somalia annually.

Lastly, if you're in a glass house, don't throw rocks is a Somali saying. We, Somalis, are in no position to criticize others.
