they were the biggest of all of Allah's human creations and they were after the flood....of course there are preflood giants (current mountains) and they, too, are mentioned in the quran in Surat luqman when luqman is telling his son "inaka lan tabluqa jibaala duulan.....walan takhriqal arda " which means you won't reach in height the mountains (rocks) or crack the earth since they were so powerful...it is a subtle indication....these preflood giants have been mudfossiled ....Here is a glimpse...and do your own research ....
