Somalis have always been hassled tho...even if you are a citizen. Not just America but in Canada. What is the number one warning when Somalis travel back home? "Don't let them stamp your passport" and we are talking about citizens with passports. You are always flagged for secondary screening. "Random checks" people have been detained for 2-3 hours and let go. Under Obama under Trudeau under liberals administrations. Lets cut through hyperbole and outright distortions. It's a myth Somalis had it good under Obama.

Have you read about that story on the news in the last 24 hours about the former Norwegian prime minister who got detained in a US airport because he had an Iranian stamp on his DIPLOMAT passport? So what do you expect when a Faarax/Xaliimo visits back home and returns to the US, that they would go through the customs unquestioned? Thanks to Al-Kabaab, that will be the norm for us for many years to come, unfortunately.

yes somalis or any other Muslims are more likely to be selected for extra screening, but thats has been normal since 9/11 and gaalos have their reason. but obama didnt ban poor qaxootis to enter the country.

yes but its just temporarily for now, trumpf's administration is going to appeal and this stay may get overturned. i think this case will go all the way to the supreme court. anyone who had visa should enter the country asap.

That will take time and I think the old man is probably pissed right now. All the people who bought a flight ticket and got send back their money has been wasted. I don't think some of them have enough money to buy a new flight ticket. What a sad situation.

Federal Judge was appointed by George Dubya Bush and he's in Washington State.

Trump is melting down on Twitter about this. He doesn't realize our judiciary branch just might be our last semi-independent branch of government left.

Everyone who has a valid visa from the 7 banned countries can come back now. Even if your visa was cancelled last week, you can still come back in as Customs and Border Patrol and the Department of State are letting people back in

Yeah , God bless America the land of the Free , where no man is above the Law . According to the AG of the state of Washington this travel ban is "breathtakingly unconstitutional "

Maybe my little tribesmen of Somaliland who work hard to advance themselves and their people can now come to the elite schools an American by the name of Starr in Somaliland has set them up for .
God bless America all the way , I was even touched by a report I seen last night on French TV where ordinary citizens were going to the airport showing their support for those caught in this madman MADAFAKIN' Trump shenanigans .

Federal means federal . The next step the Trump team has is to take it to the Supreme Court . According to the Trump MOTHERFUCKIN' gov , it was supposed to be temporary . Now we observe their next move .....motherfuckers !!

The judge is a bafoon and fruit, President Trump will easily overturn this by stacking the Supreme Court with his appointee Neil Gorsuch who will be sworn in very soon. This case which will eventually reach the Supreme Court who has the final stay would most definitely strike this Judge's order down and the EO will be respected by all US agencies. This is a futile attempts by the Anti Trump desperate establishment too neuter his power as President but will totally fail. I support Mr Trump to deport Muslims because maybe they would finally understand to fix the hellholes they come from instead of trying to take advantage of American resources, while war rages at home. Leave America for its original founders the Anglosaxon whites who colonized and destroyed native population and expanded across the stretch to California.

Mr. Trump is a smart man and is protecting his nation from being swamped like Europe with millions of refugees and being taken over, a very valid case that has already occured in Belgium, France, Germany etc

Justice Kennedy and Chief Justice Roberts would both or one of them go against the executive order.

Rudy Guiliani went on FOX last week and said it was a Muslim ban.

The intent of the order was a religious one despite the rhetoric today and we have the whole campaign trail as evidence of it.

It's an unconstitutional order and they shot themselves in the foot about it.
