The violence is against all African migrants including Somalis, Malawians, Zimbabweans, Nigerians, and other black Africans. And it is mostly driven by local businesses who lost business to migrant shops. The problem with Somalis is they don't have consensus that can get them state support.

You are right it's not just Somalis, It's Nigerians, Ghanaian, Other West Africans and East Africans countries. These clueless bastards on this forum think it's just Somalis. You don't need and can't expect state support. Take a page out of the Koreans in 1992 riots when the same thing happened to them and their business in Los Angeles.
