He controls the Syria that matters. Where 70% of the population live (all the big cities in the western part of the country)

The Kurds have close relations with Assad (and the US and Russia)

The rebels are confined to Idlib where Al Qaeda is the strongest force, the South near Israel and Jordan and Damascus outskirts

And of course ISIS in the East fighting Assad's army and allies

Turkey said they're leaving too...

he doesnt control shyt. Syrian army has gone in 2012 when the oppositiin captured the two Ghouta of damascus and some interior neighbourhoods like qaboun and berza. there r dozens of iran funded shiite militias since 2013
http://www.middleeasteye.net/columns/sh ... 1508759016

From lebanon borders to greater damascus, tadmur desert, hama and aleppo is filled by foreign militias let alone the russians, pro regime mooryaan NDF, kurds

they protect the regime like how amisom protects the SFG so how and when he can regain full control of syria?

Russia and Iran can change him easily. all russia wants is to be stakeholder, for iran, to protect hizbullahs backdoor. nasrallah is more important to iran than assad so any deal that protects iran interests like a sunni-led sectarian syria modeled after iraq and lebanon not a centralist sunni--led syria it will accept it but in exchange with yemen. saudis must accept shiite-led yemen if they want a sunni-led syria. saudis fear iran may ask the same for bahrain so they r rejecting it. russia says to sunnis form a govt and take the pm post but forget about changing the regime

there r two new things; Turkey setting free FSA in nothern aleppo. they will attack cifrin without turkey backing them officially to connect with idlib and southren hama

pro-qatar former al nusra-led hayat tahriir al sham coallition has reached a truce with hizbullah in qatar exchanging fua-kafraya hostages with those of zabadani-madaya. in the past it used to be done by ahrar asham with the support of al nusra but now its al nusra itself!

this has made crazy pro-saudi-jordan-UAE camp jaysh al islam and the al abdo tribal fighters and the syrian new army because if al nusra gives such role qatar it will get funds. secret agreement says qatar to fund an eastern syria front led by al nusra against daesh securing as far as dear zour. majority of al nusra leaders are jordanians and iraqs like abu maria al qahtani. belong to tribes that r found on the three sides
http://english.al-akhbar.com/node/23238

plans to take back deir al zour with the backing of qatar. he is behind the split with daesh and al qaida.

his father is raqi and his mother from jordan but his tribe is found on both sides.

http://www.middleeasteye.net/in-depth/f ... 1875666927

so wait until they will squeeze the tiny red map soon!

this is why many believe if daesh goes assad is finish.

Everyone knows Assad doesn't have manpower

The question is does Nusra and its allies have the manpower and supplies? They're cut off in some areas and not others.

Plus there's man power issues with them and FSA

This isn't so much defeat as the US coming to their senses about regime change and the chaos it brings.

good. having seen how turkey has changed since the russian intervention, i have learned to be realistic. the future of syria is unknown but i believe that all the russian efforts to save the regime will meet a failure. Iran has saved assad in 2012 but he started losing idleb, north hama, jabal al akrad in lattakia, qunaytira, daraa in 2015 for lack of manpower, this has forced the regime to evacuate palmyra to save the alawite villages after losing idlib and alghab plain.

Russian strategy depends on sectarian cleansing like it did in aleppo. jihadists like al nusra have changed their tactics avoid this religious cleansing by cutting ties with al qaida and then forming a political and military organisation recognized by qatar. syrian rebels negotiating with iran instead of the regime kkkk

FSA lacks man power too? FSA is part of the rebels but a new military radical gatherings r now appearing to replace daesh in the east up to qalamoun. imagin radical wings with such depth operating outskirts of damasscus in a fully sunni desert?

2500 al nusra moving to east to replace daesh. new war front funded by qatar next to the FSA at jordanian borders. will start from the iraqi borders to deir al zour.

these r jaysh al islam crying

anymore SAA?

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/the-syri ... 16.447249/

suhayl al hussein makes shiite prayer though they r not shia and have no mosques at all. at 2:13 حتى يظهر المهدى او يقتل سفيان

even if there r sunnis they r programmed like shia. its hard to defect from the "SAA" but those who were lucky will tell you getting humilated with all these insults against muawiya bin sufyan
