Do we actually have properly documented cases of abuse against Somali maids in Saudi or just youtube videos of unverified so-called victims giving 'testimonies'? I happen to know an ex-maid who worked in Saudi and she told me her employers were reasonable people and the shocking cases we hear of abuse and mistreatment were not representative of the situation of the majority of employed maids. It does happen, and it is a problem, but a very overly-exaggerated one.

It's so sad and what happened to the nature of Somalis,
Today's Somalis are weak.
Allot of Somali women worked aw maids in the gulf in the 80's they were banned because they inflicted as much violence as they received.
So many cases of men getting murdered in thier sleep for raping Somali maids, and they would beatup their employers if they were mistreated.
Somalis were banned from bieng house maids in the uae by the late 80's.

Being a maid in Arab countries is like being a slave. They take ur passport , don't pay you , treat you like slave!

Maids in somalia are treated far better.

The Arabs have started to become arrogant and started to mistreat non Arabs. May Allah destroy the f-king arrogant Arabs.

Check out documentary and reports about how Qatar mistreat their foreign workers who construct the world cup stadium. They aren't getting paid and they live in the outskirts of the city.

I love all Muslims but the Arabs have started to become arrogant!

I love Arabs as Muslim brothers but working and living in Arab could tries is very dangerous.

They are very racist and arrogant. They will favor an Arab even if you are innocent.

If you get raped they will kill you for adultery. If you get in a car accident and the Arab was the one at fault you will pay all the fee.

They also treat us like slave

May Allah guide them back to Islam
