I cant believe they are comparing Somalis to Korea!!!
First of all they were a unified kingdom for hundreds of years, they were also sophisticated culturally , you should compare them to Japan.
First Modern university was in 1905, by independence after 1945,
the Japanese left an industrialized state.

We had nothing by independence.
